Dr. Virk is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedics at the NYU School of Medicine, which is one of the foremost medical schools in the United States. At the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, Dr. Virk is an academic faculty member in the shoulder and elbow division and is actively involved in teaching and training of medical students, orthopedic residents and sports and shoulder fellows. Dr. Virk is the Director of Shoulder and Elbow research at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital and mentors research fellows, research residents and students. He is the Director of Quality and Patient Safety for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital.
